Park Hill Students Break with Parents; Vote for Obama
More than 83,000 students in 12 area school districts participated in YMCA of Greater Kansas City’s Kids Voting program yesterday, Election Day November 4, 2008. New this year, they voted at their schools using online ballots. In the Northland the Platte County, Park Hill and Liberty school districts participated. Platte County School Districts had 2,776 students cast ballots and John McCain was their choice for President. Park Hill School District students, 7,250 of them, voted Obama as their pick for President and 7,956 Liberty students voted for McCain as the top seat.
